Phil Jones: 5 foods I can't live without
Sssshhh don't tell Fergie, but Phil Jones likes to scoff fish and chips and chocolate Aero bars. Did we also mention he hates carrots and beans? Whoops.
Manchester United defender Phil Jones adheres to a typical footballer’s dietary regime – pasta, chicken and red meat – but sometimes he caves into temptation.
“I love chips – I’m such a typical teenager,” confessed the England international. “If I could only eat one chocolate bar for the rest of my life it would be a chocolate Aero.”
And don’t expect to see Jones rummaging through the produce asile at the supermarket – the former Blackburn player is not a fan of vegetables.
To find out what Jones eats to enhance his performance and what leads him astray hit play and enjoy.
